You have three faces

You Have Three Faces – A Japanese Philosophy

A Japanese saying suggests that every person has three faces. The first face is the one you show to the world — the image people see and the personality you present in public. The second face is the one you show to your close friends and family, where you feel comfortable revealing more of your true self. The third face is the one you never show anyone. It holds your deepest fears, secret dreams, hidden struggles, and the thoughts you keep to yourself.

Perhaps the most interesting part of being human is that nobody knows us completely, not even those closest to us. Behind every face lies a story that the world may never know.
