Cataract is a major cause of blindness, but religion and politics can sometimes blind people more deeply than any physical disease. A cataract affects our eyes, while blind faith and political obsession can affect our ability to think, question, and judge wisely.

Religion should teach us love, kindness, peace, and humanity. Politics should help us build a better society and protect our rights. Unfortunately, when people blindly follow religious leaders or political parties, they may forget the values of truth, justice, and humanity. They may even hate their neighbours simply because they belong to a different religion or support a different political party.

The real problem is not religion or politics themselves, but the blind loyalty that prevents people from questioning what is wrong. When emotions overpower reason, people may accept lies as truth and treat disagreement as an enemy. They stop thinking independently and allow others to control their opinions.

A healthy society needs people who can question, think critically, and respect different perspectives. Faith should inspire compassion, and politics should serve the people, not divide them.

Cataracts may blind our eyes, but blind faith and political obsession can blind our minds. True vision begins when we learn to think beyond prejudice, hatred, and unquestioning loyalty.
